How to create the Perfect Study Plan and Crack The Final Exams!

Exam time is the most stressful time of the year and often makes up the compelling part of your final result.

It is important for you to do well in exams, and creating a perfect study schedule will help you a lot. Hey, when you have more than one exam to study for, how do you manage your time?

You can make your child sit with their books but with an enormous syllabus in front, it becomes very overwhelming and a child is often left wondering where to begin. Do you know that making an exam study schedule is easy? And all you need is careful planning !!!

Prepare Your Study Strategy

Create a study schedule and take control of your learning. Success rarely occurs through accident or good fortune. It takes time, planning and dedication – particularly so when it comes to achieving study goals.

A Study Planner can be used by students to better organise their time and maximise their learning. Here’s an easy way to make your own planner:

  • List Out All Your Upcoming Exams
  • List out all the exams leaving up few lines between each exam.
  • Use different colour pens to represent each exam.
  • Mark up all the days when an exam would commence.
  • And also, mark down the tutorials/ extra lessons which you have to read on!

Divide Each Exam Into Study Units

And now for each subject, get the chapters list which you have covered. Consider the difficulty level of each chapter and please write its difficulty level next to each chapter say – Easy, Medium-Hard, Hard.

Note down all the study units below each exam. Then assign the ranking for each subject depending on its difficulty. This would definitely help you to decide the time you must spend on each chapter.

Divide Your Units By Days

On the sheet, write down the several days you have for each exam. Now divide the units per each day accordingly. Find out, how much time you could spend on each topic. And divide the number of study days you have with you for each topic/subject.

For instance, – 4 days per 9 units is 3 units per day + 1 Leisure Day)

Prioritize Your Study Time

At what time of the day, you would feel focused/ concentrated? Mornings or evenings, choose that time and stick to it.

Time Yourself

Set an alarm for when you would like to study. This helps you to be on time.

Never let your study schedule/plan overwhelm you. Do establish goals and work towards them which allows you to study as well as allow you to have time relax and unwind too. Check out some interesting events and activities to do in Hyderabad and Bangalore.
