Community Guidelines

Welcome to KidEngage, a platform for parents to ensure they can discover the best for their children - advice, expert opinions, events, schools, preschools, activities and products. The KidEngage community welcomes like-minded individuals, who support and share with other parents with a sense of kinship and belonging, and with no fear of prejudice and judgment.

This community is governed by the following set of standards that apply to all community members and their posts. We reserve the right to remove any material that does not (in our judgment) comply with these standards and to revoke posting privileges at our discretion. In most instances, community members will be warned of offending behavior and repeated warnings may result in banning. Our decisions are considered final.

• Please be respectful and civil to other members, even if you disagree with their opinion.
• Vulgar, profane, or sexually graphic content (posts, member names, subject lines, images, etc.) is NOT allowed.
• Threatening, racist, abusive, hateful, violent, or obscene language or behavior will not be tolerated.
• Participation in, suggesting, or encouraging any illegal activity will be ground for immediate deletion and suspension of posting privileges, and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
• Do not flood or spam with too many posts. You can only post a maximum of 5 posts a day, though there is no limit on the number of comments. However, any comments perceived as spam will also result in a warning and subsequent banning, if done repeatedly.
• Please do not post chain letters, pyramid schemes, junk mail, etc.
• While building the community and forging connections is welcome, overtly commercial solicitation is not encouraged.
• This is a public discussion forum. Please share any private information about yourself or your business at your own discretion and responsibility, including any personal or financial details. When sharing contact information, we advise that you use a private message.
• You might receive medical, legal, professional advice from community members, who might or might not be experts. Please use your own discretion for all advice found on the site. KidEngage will not be responsible for any consequences resulting from an advice received as part of KidEngage Community.
• The views expressed by community members on the site do not necessarily reflect those of KidEngage.
• KidEngage may now or in the future permit users to post, upload, transmit through, or otherwise make available on the site (collectively, "submit") messages, recipes, text, illustrations, files, images, graphics, photos, comments, sounds, music, videos, information, content, and/or other materials ("User Content"). We have the right to publish, edit or reject any User Content that you send us either via email, via the site or in writing via post for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without payment to you - unless we have specifically agreed otherwise in writing prior to submission of such content.

Service Description

Kidengage.com, owned by KidEngage Services Private Limited, is an India based business operating a website and an app for connecting parents and students with service providers such as play schools, day care centres, activity centres, sports camps, tuitions, and kids entertainment and edutainment events.

There will be two types of users on Kidengage.com – the consumers or end users searching for play schools, day care centres, kids’ activities or private tutors and the merchants or service providers such as play school owners, activity organizers, and tutors.

The consumers or end users can search for an activity or play school or tutor from the Home page, and then use filters etc, to identify the best fit for their need. The consumers can then use the information provided in the Activity Profile page to contact the merchant/service provider directly.

The users can also provide review comments and ratings for the activity/school/tutor, which would be visible for other visitors. Kidengage.com also provides the functionality to book a slot in an activity or play school or tickets for an event and pay the fee online.

The merchants or service providers will create their Profile page and can add as many listings as they wish to. The default view for a merchant user will be the dashboard or Profile Listings page, where all the listings created by them will be visible along with the statistics on listing views, likes and ratings.

Kidengage.com is an aggregator and a marketplace for the play schools, kids’ activities and tuitions. Whilst we make the best effort possible to only include verified listings and ensure quality of the information available on the site, the quality of service commitment will be from the individual merchants or service providers. Based on the ratings and comments on the site, if a service provider is deemed as not providing an acceptable standard of service quality, kidengage.com reserves the right to remove those listings. This quality assurance approach we believe will ensure the best possible user experience and customer delight for both kidengage.com and the merchants/service providers.

As a condition to using the Service, you agree and understand that KidEngage.com will display ads and other information adjacent to and related to the content it services. These include, but are not limited to, sponsored ads, Google AdSense Ads, as well as ads from other ad providers.

Kidengage.com collects information when you register on the website, view any listings, place an order, subscribe to its newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form. When ordering or registering on the kidengage website, as appropriate, you may be asked for details such as your name, e-mail address, and other personally identifiable information.

Information Collection

In order to become a Kidengage.com registered user, you must first create a user account by providing information about yourself including but not limited to name, email address and a password. This could also be done by logging in to kidengage.com using your Facebook user credentials, Google Account/Gmail credentials or create an account using your email Id and set a password. In all scenarios, Kidengage.com will request access to your profile name, and login details, but will not be able to post on your behalf on any of these platforms.

Use of Information

Any information kidengage.com collects from you may be used in one of the following ways:

• To provide content relevant to your profile
• To improve customer service and Website performance and usability
• To process transactions
• To provide your email address to businesses whose listings you have visited or sent a query or tried to make a purchase

Kidengage.com uses your email Id and phone number to communicate with you as a registered user.
Personal information provided by you may be used for the following purposes:

• To send account updates, announcements about new services, newsletter or blog posts.
• To personalize your experience

Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested or to allow the businesses to contact you when you have shown an interest in their listing or event by viewing their pages, sending an enquiry or trying to make a purchase or ticket booking. Even in these cases, kidengage.com will make sure that your Name and Email Id only will be shared when you have just viewed a listing or event. If you have a query that needs to be answered by the business or your purchase transaction fails for some technical reason, if you have already shared your phone number with us, we will then provide the same to the business to ensure the service is delivered to your satisfaction.

Protection of Information

Kidengage.com implements robust security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Apart from a secure server, all the supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into the Payment gateway provider’s database and will only be accessible to those with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

This content will include the comments or ratings, or any blog posts done by you, or the information provided in the listings by you (as a provider), or any other user generated content.

Rules of Conduct – Safe Internet Experience

Kidengage.com is committed to ensuring a safe and friendly online community for all our members. All users are expected to abide by the following rules:

• Do not use the website to harass, threaten or verbally abuse or intimidate anyone, or behave in any manner that would cause annoyance or distress to other members.
• Do not post any material that is obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful or embarrassing towards other members.
• Do not divulge the details of your identity or personal information in your posts. Anything posted online is accessible to the entire internet community and Kidengage.com is not liable in cases where such information is misused.
• Be aware of the dangers of online information sharing like identity theft, phishing and other fraudulent activities.

Storage of Content

The Content stored with kidengage.com will be stored securely in our cloud storage service provider, and may also be temporarily stored in other locations to facilitate the transmission of the Content to and from your devices. Kidengage.com will ensure that any use of subcontractors located abroad is done in compliance with applicable law.

Charging for Use of the Services

No application fee or subscription fee is charged for the Service for the consumers or end users. A fee will be charged for Featured Listings or Events, for publishing sponsored content such as blogs, or interviews, for providing payment gateway services. Kidengage.com will enter into individual agreements with such providers or merchants.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation of Events

KidEngage platform will have tickets available for events organized by KidEngage and other event organizers. KidEngage reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrolment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.

If KidEngage or any event organizer cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund within 10 working days from the date of Cancellation. If the payment is made online then refund will be done online to the account from which the payment was made.

KidEngage and/or the event organizer reserves the right to cancel the registration of any participant and not to refund the Fees without giving any written notice on any grounds that KidEngage seems fit to maintain discipline and order in the event or any other platforms.

Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, KidEngage has the right to offer a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Refund of Online payment will be made within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the cancellation letter or email received in the account from which the payment was made.

Registration Cancellation by Participant

Customers agree that we follow a 'No Refund & Cancellation Policy' at www.kidengage.com as a default policy except in cases where an individual event organizer selling tickets on KidEngage platform decides to offer a refund policy. Refund and Cancellation terms will then be displayed to the customer before the tickets or services are booked.

Customers agree that KidEngage Services Private Limited is not responsible for refunding the event or course fees or amount paid for enrolment in any of the courses under the varied packages on the web site. The concerned event organizer, school, tutor or activity provider should be approached in case of any query on refund and cancellation policy of the provider.

Use of the Services

You are responsible for your use of the Service, including the lawfulness of the Content. All Content is the sole responsibility of the person who originated such Content. Kidengage.com may not monitor or control ALL the Content posted via the Service and kidengage.com cannot take responsibility for such Content. Any use or reliance on any Content or materials posted via the Service or obtained by you through the Service is at your own risk.

Kidengage.com does not endorse, support, represent or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any Content or communications posted via the Services or endorse any opinions expressed via the Service. By using the Service, you may be exposed to Content that might be offensive, harmful, inaccurate or otherwise inappropriate, or in some cases, Content that have been wrongly labelled or misguiding. Under no circumstances will Kidengage.com be liable in any way for any Content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any Content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content generated or made available via the Service.

Rights to Content

Users retain their rights to any Content they submit, post or display on or through the Service. By submitting, posting or displaying Content on or through the Services, you (the user) grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to process such Content in any way necessary to perform the Service. Kidengage.com may modify or adapt your Content in order to transmit, display or distribute it over computer networks and in various media and/or make changes to your Content as are necessary to conform and adapt that Content to any requirements or limitations of any networks, devices, services or media.

Kidengage.com respects your right to privacy and will not access the Content. This license is only about you (the user) authorizing Kidengage.com to manage or broker your Content.

Content and Use of the Service Restrictions

Kidengage.com always reserves the right (but will not have an obligation) to remove or refuse to distribute any Content on the Service. Kidengage.com also reserves the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information Kidengage.com reasonably believes is necessary to (i) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, (ii) enforce the Terms, including investigation of potential violations hereof, (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, (iv) respond to user support requests, or (v) protect kidengage.com’s rights, property or safety, Kidengage.com’s users and the public.

Kidengage.com may on its option, terminate the relationship with a user, or suspend user’s access to the Service immediately if it is deemed that the user is using their subscription contrary to these Terms. Kidengage.com will attempt to provide you with notice of improper usage before suspension or termination of your subscription and may, if appropriate, offers you an alternative service.
